Frescobaldi Lucente 2018

Description

Lucente is Luce’s second wine. It’s the result of selected Sangiovese and Merlot grapes. A contemporary style wine representing the uniqueness of its territory. It ages 12 months in barrique, in the historic estate of the Frescobaldis in Montalcino where it is also bottled.

Sensory analysis

Intense and bright ruby red color. It reaches the nose with intense notes of plum, blackberry and currant on an undertone of tertiary wood-derived aromas.Thanks to its velvety tannins, the mouth is round, elegant and with a persistent finish.

Ideal through the whole dinner. Excellent with meat based dishes and medium-mature cheeses.
