Description
The harvesting happens in mid-October. The grapes (80% destammed and 20% whole) ferment in wood for 15 days. After grape pressing, it matures in French oak barrels with malolactic fermentation for 10 months. Such a nice surprise this autochthonous variety from Aosta Valley!in wine of great personality and expressiveness that comes from vines grown on large slopes dominated by a harsh climate. Enveloping and elegant.
Sensory analysis
Red color with garnet hues. On the nose, it’s fine and intense, exuding notes of small wild berries with raspberry, underpinned by ripe strawberry and blackberry. On the palate, it’s full, round, with a pleasant tannin. Excellent persistence.
I’Garage recommends
