Description

Schiava (Vernatsch) is a typical grape variety from Alto Adige (South Tyrol) and it reaches its highest level in this varietal wine. It refines for about six months, partly in barrel. It shows itself as a ready-to-drink wine and a versatile one. The almost total absence of tannins makes it a suitable companion with any fish dish.

Sensory analysis

A clear ruby red color. On the nose, notes of fresh red fruits. On the palate it’s elegant and easy to drink.

Pleasantly versatile, it’s ideal with meat, fish or legumes recipes and definetly suitable for the whole meal. Absolutely enjoyable with cured meats, white meats, grilled fish and light pasta. Well worth a try with soups, including Brodetto (seafood stew).
