Fontodi Chianti Classico 2018

Description

From the very heart of Chianti Classico, this winery expresses the best characteristics of Sangiovese, also thanks to a sustainable and organic agriculture, both in vineyard and in cellar. After fermenting on indigenous lees and extended macerations, this wine slowly ages in barrique so as to acquire an extraordinary suppleness.

Sensory analysis

In the glass, an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it reveals notes of violet followed by tertiary aromas of tobacco and leather. On the palate, the tannins are evident and the finish is long and spicy.

Excellent with any red meat recipe. Ideal with mushroom based dishes. Splendid witn mature and ripened cheeses.
