Description

This Sangiovese and Merlot blend was such an innovation for Montalcino, back when local wineries used to produce only pure Sangiovese. More than 20 years later we are still celebrating its successful uniqueness.

Sensory analysis

In the glass, an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it’s definitely complex with intense notes of small black fruits on an undertone of spices, along with licorice and balsamic notes. On the palate, it’s structured with mature and velvety tannins. Unique long persistence.

Ideal for the whole meal, it pairs marvelously with roast/grilled meats and medium-mature cheeses.
